Women of UPR Law

“Where would you like to see the women of the future?”

“I want to see women in leadership positions assuming powerful roles but making compassionate decisions. More specifically, I would like to see them more involved in agriculture, which I feel is a great area to develop empathy, solidarity, and build meaningful relationships with people. Ataraxia, our law school’s garden, is one of the many places where we exercise solidarity and kindness. Last year I met beautiful people who were led by these values in their lives and as a result, I would like to see everyone, including women, plant confidence in themselves, cultivate all the good they can, and see them grow into something even more beautiful.”
