“What do you do when you encounter a challenge?”
“I keep a quote by Paulo Coelho close to my heart: ‘Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.’
Most of the times we think of challenges as unexpected obstacles, especially when we are focused on results. But the truth is that with the right mental attitude we can completely reframe the way we experience challenges.
As a law student and as an athlete, challenges are part of my everyday life. I think of them as ways of strengthening my capabilities and as opportunities to harness my personal power to an even greater degree. I’ve learned to see each challenge as an opportunity to become stronger and more capable.”
