Women of UPR Law

For our #WoUL re-launch, Professor Érika Fontánez Torres explains the importance of achieving liberty for women (translation by NWLSO)

“Attaining more liberty for women requires us to think, say, and do things that are deeply inconvenient for many people. It involves questioning common views undertaken by authority. Both of these are unavoidable if we truly want to achieve liberty. And if we consider inconvenience and controversy as something optional for us, then more than ever we have the ethical duty to do it for others.”
