Women of UPR Law

Being a law student has been a dream come true. To me, the most difficult part of law school is balancing personal things and school work. It can be overwhelming but I remind myself of what Jillian Michaels said: “It’s not about perfect. It’s about effort, and when you implement that effort into your life every single day, that’s where transformation happens. That’s how change occurs. Keep going. Remember why you started.”

My advice to anyone considering law school is to embrace the challenges that will come every day. One of those is to show the world that women are capable of being in leadership positions. We need to embrace change, love each other, and show the world that we can do it. If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.
