Welcome to the National Women Law Students’ Organization- University of Puerto Rico’s official blog!
On this site, you will learn more about what we’ve done, our future activities, and the people who make our chapter a special one. NWLSO-UPR was founded in 2014 with the idea of creating spaces where women could engage in conversations about their experiences and share their own interpretations of what it means to be a woman in the legal profession. As a Ms.JD student chapter, we strive to advance women in the profession by providing students with the tools needed to gain more confidence and hone essential skills for their journey. Our pilot program, the Student Mentorship Program, was designed to connect students and create a community built on ideas, empowerment, and teamwork. We hope you’ll join the conversation and become part of our chapter!
